Uma pequena casa típica do centro de Cascais é o lugar onde podemos degustar o maravilhoso sushi da Confraria, um dos meus favoritos. O porquê do seu éxito e longevidade diria que vem da qualidade do peixe, do seu corte e das combinações que fazem juntando as tradicionais com outras que são um descobrimento. Com uma decoração colorida a fugir dos asiáticos tradicionais e um eficiente atendimento é um dos que mais gostamos de repetir quando estamos na vila.

A small typical house in the center of Cascais is where we can taste the wonderful sushi of the Confraria, one of my favorites. The reason for its success and longevity would say that it comes from the quality of the fish, its cut and the combinations that they make between the traditional with others that are a discovery. With a colorful decor to escape the traditional Asians and an efficient service is one of the most we like to repeat when we are in the village.

Durante séculos os mercados eram o centro de uma cidade ou vila, ponte de encontro que não era apenas comercial mas também social foram perdendo a sua importância talvez por uma maior conveniência de outros formatos de loja que concorrem com este tipo. Felizmente chegou uma nova fórmula que lhes permitiu ganhar um novo fôlego e o mesmo passou com o movimentado Mercado de Cascais agora baptizado da Vila que mantém ainda viva essa parte mais tradicional mas ao qual se junta um oferta gastronómica que lhe permite estar sempre activo.

For centuries the markets were the center of a town or village, a meeting spot that was not only commercial but also social were losing their importance perhaps by a greater convenience of other store formats that compete with this type. Fortunately, a new formula has arrived that has allowed them to gain a new breath and the same happened with the bustling Cascais Market now baptized of the Vila that still keeps alive this more traditional part but which is joined by a gastronomic offer that allows it to be always active.
