O Perhaps pode não ter o nome mais tradicional que se encontra na Extremadura mas é um bom restaurante, com uma decoração descontraída e uma carta que têm os pratos mais típicos da Extremadura com outros de toque mais moderno. Gostámos do ambiente e do atendimento, foram sempre muito simpáticos algo que sempre valorizamos quando viajamos com os miudos. Pedimos tapas para partilhar algumas das mais tradicionais como as “croquetas” e os “huevos rotos” mas algumas que parecem fazer parte das cartas locais como o porco com molho de torta de casar.
Perhaps may not have the most traditional name found in Extremadura but it is a good restaurant, with a relaxed decor and a menu that has the most typical dishes from Extremadura with others with a more modern touch. We liked the atmosphere and the service, they were always very friendly, something we always value when we travel with the kids. We ordered tapas to share some of the more traditional ones, such as “croquetas” and “huevos rotos”, but some that seem to be part of the local cards, such as pork with marinated pie sauce.
As “croquetas” eram de bacalhau e de morcela, estas últimas estavam óptimas. Tivémos duas pequenas decepções, os ovos rotos estavam feitos com batatas cozidas e não fritas, faltava-lhes essa parte mais estaladiça mas o presunto era de boa qualidade. Na tábua de enchidos, faltava-lhe esse presunto de melhor qualidade que estavam nos ovos mas o resto dos enchidos/queijos estavam bons. Os segundos pratos foram o porco com molho de torta de casar, pareceu-nos ser tipico da região porque vimos nas cartas de outros restaurantes. Pedimos também dois mini hamburguers para os mais pequenos e o outro prato foi um frango com molho de caril. As sobremesas estavam boas, a tarte de queijo era diferente do que estamos habituados, sabia a queijo mas era mais fresca. O almoço pode ficar entre 20-25€ por pessoa e a conta vem com umas Fortune Cookies, algo divertido mais para o final.
The “croquetas” were made of cod and black pudding, the latter were great. We had two small disappointments, the broken eggs were made with boiled potatoes and not fried, they lacked that crispy part but the ham was of good quality. On the sausage board, he lacked that better quality ham that was in the eggs but the rest of the sausages / cheeses were good. The second dishes were the pork with marinated pie sauce, it seemed to be typical of the region because we saw it in the letters of other restaurants. We also ordered two mini hamburgers for the little ones and the other dish was a chicken with curry sauce. The desserts were good, the cheese pie was different from what we are used to, it tasted like cheese but it was fresher. Lunch can be between 20-25 € per person and the bill comes with Fortune Cookies, something fun for the end.
