Entramos na segunda parte do nosso passeio por Toledo, procurávamos a mesquita da Luz de Cristo quando pelo caminho encontrámos a Igreja dos Jesuítas também conhecida por San Ildefonso. O seu interior branco e tranquilo chama a atenção, o seu estilo barroco vem da sua longa construção desde o século XVII ao XVIII e por estar num dos pontos mais altos da cidade tem uma excelente vista panorâmica subindo a uma das suas torre.

We enter the second part of our tour of Toledo, we were looking for the mosque of the Light of Christ (Mesquita da Luz de Cristo) when we found the Jesuit Church also known as San Ildefonso. Its white and quiet interior draws attention, its Baroque style comes from its long construction from the seventeenth century to the eighteenth and for being one of the highest points of the city has an excellent panoramic view going up to one of its towers.

Quase todos os anos fazemos um passeio a Toledo, como vamos pouco tempo conseguimos ver sempre algo novo de cada vez, pelo menos novo para nós. Outrora a capital do império espanhol mantém os seus encantos e as suas misturas arquitetónicas entre o medieval e a mudéjar. O passeio começou junto ao Alcázar onde estacionámos o carro e entrámos na teia de ruas estreitas que caracterizam a cidade até chegar á Catedral.

Almost every year we take stroll in Toledo, as we go on short trips we can always see something new each time, at least new to us. Once the capital of the Spanish empire retains its charms and its architectural mixtures between the medieval and Mudejar.
