Já conhecia La Cure Gourmande mas a de Madrid, a de Paris (pelo menos esta na Rue de Rivoli) não era muito diferente mas ainda assim é sempre bom estar no seu país de origem. Fundada há vinte e cinco anos em Balaruc-Les-Bains tinha como objectivo voltar á tradicional pastelaria e confeitaria vendendo bolachas e bolos de boa qualidade que além disso recuperava o conceito das caixas de metal que se tornam objectos de coleccionador.
I already knew La Cure Gourmande but the one in Madrid, Paris (at least this in Rue de Rivoli) was not much different but still it is always good to be in it’s country of origin. Founded twenty-five years ago in Balaruc-Les-Bains it aimed to return to the traditional pastries and confectionary selling biscuits and good quality cakes that also recovered the concept of metal boxes that become collector’s items.



The first thing we visited in Rouen was its cathedral, we arrived before closing and we could not see everything but it was still a great experience. Its construction began in the twelfth century on the site of a basilica of the fourth century and another church of Romanesque style from the XI century and still retains its imposing Gothic style even after having lived through reforms after several wars, hurricanes, lightning, etc..
