Depois do nosso almoço no Vojanuv Dvur (post aqui) continuámos a explorar a cidade sem grande plano, sabíamos que o passeio estava a chegar ao fim quando entrámos neste parque, o Vojanovy Sady. Parecia um mundo paralelo, depois da agitação de atravessar a Ponte Carlos e de visitar o Castelo sempre com muita gente á volta chegar aqui e encontrar um bonito e tranquilo jardim foi o melhor para recarregar baterias.
 
After our lunch at Vojanuv Dvur (post here) we continued to explore the city without great plans, we knew that our walk was coming to an end when we entered this park, Vojanovy Sady. It looked like a parallel world, after the crowd crossing the Charles Bridge and the visit to the Castle always  with so many people around it to get here and find a beautiful, quiet garden was the best thing to recharge batteries.

Em pleno bairro Malá Strana, não é muito grande e não é dos mais conhecidos, dizem que é um dos favoritos dos locais exactamente por isso porque podem aproveitar este espaço para fugir ás multidões de turistas que como nós invadem esta zona de Praga rica em história e arquitetura. Fazia parte de um convento e ao longo do tempo foi-se transformando neste belo parque de estilo Inglês com extensos relvados, árvores, bancos e até pavões.
 
Right in the neighborhood of Malá Strana, is not very big and is not the most popular, they say it is a locals favorite exactly why because they can take this opportunity to escape the crowds of tourists like us that invade this part of Prague rich in history and architecture. It was part of a convent and over time has been transformed in this beautiful English-style park with lawns, trees, benches and even peacocks.

Há algum tempo que tínhamos deixado as descobertas culinárias na zona onde vivemos, preferimos ir até Madrid, comida e um passeio é um bom plano para “desligar” no fim de semana. Mas voltámos a Majadahonda porque há alguns restaurantes que estão a da que falar, um é o Ochenta e o outro é este Xinito ambos junto ao Monte del Pilar excelente para passeios em familia. O Xinito parecia ter nome de asiático barato mas ao entrar chegamos a um restaurante moderno, com uma decoração simples se não contamos com um dragão gigante pendurado no tecto.
For some time we had left the culinary discoveries in the area where we live, we prefer to go to Madrid, food and a nice walk is a good plan to “turn off” in the weekend. But we returned to Majadahonda because there are some restaurants that are in everyone’s mouth, one is the Ochenta and the other is this one, Xinito both near the Monte del Pilar excellent for walks in family. The Xinito seemed to have a name of a cheap asian but on entering we come to a modern restaurant with a simple decoration except for the giant dragon hanging from the ceiling.

É a terceira colaboração da M no blog desta vez sobre o nosso almoço no Marieta um dos restaurantes da moda em Madrid, dos mesmos donos do igualmente famoso Pipa & Co.. Eu pessoalmente já tinha ido algumas vezes e é dos que gosto de repetir.
It is M’s third collaboration and this time it is about our lunch at Marieta one of the trendy restaurants in Madrid, of the same owners of the equally famous Pipa & Co .. I personally had go a few times and it’s one of those I like to repeat.

Frontierland Disneyland – Paris, França

É a zona temática dedicada ao Velho Oeste e á expansão das fronteiras norte-americanas no século XVIII e XIX. Depois de ser pirata na Adventureland aqui podemos ser um comboy. Podemos apanhar um barco a vapor – o Molly Brown – e imaginar que estamos no rio Mississipi.
Tem cerca de sete divertimentos para além de zonas que são excelentes para tirar fotografías como se estivessemos num cenário de um filme.

DISCOVERYLAND DISNEYLAND – PARIS, FRANÇA

Do que me lembrava da Discoveryland era a Spacemontain e o Autopia. O lema de esta zona é: “Dreams of the future from the past and present” e é em cheio porque tem atrações que exploram a ideia de ficção científica como se podia descobrir nos livros de Julio Verne ou entrar no mundo da Guerra das Estrelas ou mesmo chegar ao espaço através do foguetão da Space Mountain.
What I remembered from the Discoveryland was the Spacemontain and the Autopia. The motto of this zone is: “Dreams of the future from the past and present” and is spot on because it has attractions that explore the idea of science fiction as one could find in the books of Jules Verne or enter the Star Wars world or even get into space by rocket from space Mountain.

Adventureland Disneyland – Paris, França

A Adventureland é uma das parte mais pequena do mundo da Disneyland Paris, tem seis divertimentos mas dois deles são dos mais frequentados do parque: o dos Piratas das Caraíbas e o do Indiana Jones e o Templo do Perigo (Peril). Este último atrai multidões e nem sempre é fácil sequer conseguir um Fastpass, é um dos favoritos dos mais crescidos (a altura minima é 1,40m) e é uma montanha russa onde entramos numa mina e temos que sobreviver á ira dos deuses.
The Adventureland is one of the smallest in the world of Disneyland Paris, has six rids or attractions but two of them are the most frequented of the park: the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. The latter draws crowds and is not always easy even to get a Fastpass, is a favorite of older (the minimum height is 1.40m) and is a roller coaster where we enter a mine and have to survive the wrath of the gods.

FANTASYLAND DISNEYLAND – PARIS, FRANÇA

A primeira foto do Castelo da Bela Adormecida é a que melhor identifica a passagem á Fantasyland, o mundo que para mim é a essência da Disney, das suas primeiras histórias e personagens como Peter Pan, Pinóquio, Alice no País das Maravilhas, o Dumbo, entre outros. É também aqui que está o meu divertimento preferido: o Small World. E se procuras as pizzas com a forma do Mickey, estão aqui na pizzaria Bella Notte.
The first photo of Sleeping Beauty Castle is the one that best identifies the passage to Fantasyland, the world which for me is the essence of Disney, of it’s early stories and characters like Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, among others. It is also here that is my favorite ride: Small World. And if you look for the pizzas with the shape of Mickey, here at the pizzeria Bella Notte.

WALT DISNEY STUDIOS (PART II) – PARIS, FRANÇA

No post anterior comecei a falar sobre o segundo parque do Walt Disney Studios que não ficou completo porque faltou falar do Toon Studio, foi a minha preferida onde passei grande parte do tempo no dia em que fomos. Aqui encontramos os personagens de Toy Story que têm a sua própria Toyland com uma boa variedade de divertimentos para todas as idades, entramos no mundo de Ratatoille e o simpático rato Remy e podemos voar com o Génio do Aladino.
In the previous post I started talking about the second park of Walt Disney Studios that was not complete because it missed the Toon Studio, which was my favorite area and where I spent much of the time in the day we went there. Here we find the Toy Story characters that have their own Toyland with a good variety of entertainment for all ages, we enter the world of Ratatoille and the friendly rat Remy and can fly with the Genie of Aladdin.

Na zona do Ratatouille recriaram a cidade de Paris e a atmosfera é fantástica, já o seu divertimento principal é  pelos seus tempos de espera, o ideal é ao chegar ao parque pela manhã tirar um Fastpass. Na Toyland também há uns divertimentos dignos de menção, para os mais aventureiros está o RC Racer ou os Toy Story Soldiers Parachute Drop. Mas uma das montanhas russas mais concorridas é a do Crush, a tartaruga do Á Procura de Nemo e uma das poucas que entrei nesta ida á Disney.
In the Ratatouille zone they recreated the city of Paris and the atmosphere is fantastic, as its main fun is a suplicio for their waiting times, the ideal is to get to the park in the morning take out a Fastpass. In Toyland there are also some amusements worthy of mention, for the more adventurous is the RC Racer or Soldiers Parachute Drop Toy Story. But one of the most popular roller coasters is the Crush, the turtle from Finding Nemo and one of the few that I entered this time we went to Disney.

Offers an insight into the behind the scenes of film and television, the vehicles of the magic and imagination of Walt Disney. MAIN STREET USA DISNEYLAND – PARIS, FRANÇA

Das primeiras vezes que fui á Disneyland passei por todos os divertimentos ou atrações em procura de emoções fortes ou simplesmente reviver alguma história mágica mas ao regressar este ano apercebi-me que a minha zona preferida é a Main Street. É a que me faz viajar no tempo, o bilhete de entrada a um mundo de magia e tal como essas vezes, voltou a ser a protagonista das minhas fotos. Sonho viver num sitio como este, uma colorida Main Street.
Of the first times I will Disneyland went through all the amusements or attractions in search of strong emotions or simply relive some magic story but returning this year I realized that my favorite area is the main street. It’s what makes me travel in time, the entry ticket to a world of magic and like in those times, was once again the protagonist of my photos. I dream to live in a place like this, a colorful Main Street.
