Between Spain & Portugal, Madrid & Lisboa…

I haven’t visited many stadiums to be able to say if this is better or not, by it’s history is one of the best in the world and it’s interactive exhibition using new technologies seems that is also something where Real Madrid wants to be known as one of best clubs to “sell” their story.

Nota: O museu encerrou no Verão de 2014 – The museum closed it’s doors in the Summer of 2014
When went for a walk in Sintra I decided to also visit the Toy Museum, it was not the first time but it is always good to see one of the greatest collections of European toys. João Arbués Moreira was the man who collected throughout his life several toys and at the end of the 80s his Foundation receives all his legacy. Legacy that today we can see in Sintra, which is a paradise for lovers (like me) of old toys.

The beauty of this museum is its history, collecting these many pieces around the world each has something to tell. We decided to start the visit by the Third floor and go down, we reached the roof of the Dolls whose name needs no introduction. Here we enter a world of dreams, of invented games, Barbies, Asian dolls, babies and all its accessories, modern dolls and others that are authentic gems.
For those who love toy soldiers it has one of the most interesting collections, some even as chilling like a Nazi army. There is also an excellent collection of cars and trains in addition to vintage board games. On the first floor we find more modern toys, we enter the Disney world that still reminds us of our childhood.
