Continua o boom do Ramen em Madrid e fomos conhecer mais um lugar que serve várias opções. A inspiração de muitos de estes lugares são as izakayas japonesas, uma espécie de tasca, normalmente apertadinha que gira á volta de uma cozinha que se deixa ver, no Ramen Shifu dão-lhe um toque mais cosmopolita com mesas mais modernas e uma decoração que não é levada a letra ainda que mantendo o espirito com duas mesas típicas de essas tabernas que foi onde nos sentaram.

Ramen’s boom continues in Madrid and we went to discover another place that serves several options. The inspiration of many of these places are the Japanese izakayas, a kind of tavern, usually quite smalls that revolves around a kitchen that is seen, in the Ramen Shifu they give a more cosmopolitan touch with more modern tables and a decoration that does not is taken to the letter although keeping the spirit with two tables typical of these taverns that was where we sat.

Maria Bonita – Madrid, Espanha

Fomos ao Maria Bonita por ser um taco bar e saímos pensando que podríamos ter provado outros pratos também, há restaurantes mexicanos onde tens medo de arriscar este não está nessa lista. Por dentro tem esse ar de ser a casa de alguém com três espaços diferentes, á entrada está o bar e do lado esquerdo uma pequena salinha que foi onde ficámos, com o seu altar e decoração típica mexicana (mas equilibrada).

We went to Maria Bonita because it was a taco bar and we left thinking that we could have tried other dishes too, there are Mexican restaurants where you are afraid to risk this is not on that list. Inside it has this air of being in someone’s home with three different spaces, the entrance is the bar and on the left side a small room that was where we stayed, with its altar and typical Mexican decoration (but balanced).

Memorial dos Sinti e Roma – Berlim, Alemanha

Inserido no Tiergarten, foi inaugurado em 2012 para prestar homenagem ás vitimas do Holocausto de Porajmos durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Os ciganos foram perseguidos pelos nazis nesta época e tal como os judeus foram vitimas do genocidio. O monumento em si é bastante simples, está protegido por um muro de vidro e arvoredo, nesse mesmo muro está a cronologia da história das familias ciganas perseguidas.

Inserted in the Tiergarten, it was inaugurated in 2012 to pay homage to the victims of the Holocaust of Porajmos during World War II. Gypsies were persecuted by the Nazis at this time and just as Jews were victims of genocide. The monument itself is quite simple, it is protected by a glass wall and grove, in this same wall is the chronology of the history of persecuted Gypsy families.
