Uma manhã no Rastro a trocar cromos para a caderneta de futebol dos pequenos e á caça de pratos vintage para a coleção lá de casa abriu-nos o apetite. Mesmo ali ao lado está um restaurante cujos metros quadrados são como se fossem um pedacinho de Portugal a vinte minutos de nossa casa, o Frangus. Parece a típica casa de frangos assados como temos no nosso país com pasteis de nata, bacalhau, migas, etc..

O menu com um frango assado custa 11€ com batatas fritas e uma Pepsi de 1L mas não conseguimos resistir e levámos também uma salada de polvo. Como fomos a um Domingo o restaurante estava fechado, um erro na minha opinião pela a grande afluência de gente nos dias de mercado, ainda assim o Take away estava cheio e surpreendentemente eramos os únicos portugueses lá dentro (com excepção de alguma empregada que também era portuguesa).
Aqui podemos levar entrecosto na brasa, comprar vinhos portugueses nomeadamente vinhos verdes e até Licor Beirão.
The menu with roasted chicken costs 11 € with fries and a Pepsi 1L but we could not resist and also we took an octopus salad. As we went on a Sunday the restaurant was closed, an error in my opinion by the large turnout of people on market days, yet the Take away was full and surprisingly we were the only Portuguese in there (except for a waitress who was also Portuguese). Here you can also take spare ribs on the grill, buy Portuguese wines including green wine and liquor to Beirão.
