Há algum tempo que quería experimentar o Tierra, primeiro vi o que estava na Sagasta e no dia em que viémos almoçar á Cafetaria HD ficámos divididos porque o vimos em frente com uma esplanada convidativa e a promessa de comer um bom burrito. Gostei muito do seu conceito, primeiro porque não tem a típica decoração mexicana optando por uma via mais moderna tornando-se bastante acolhedor e depois porque podes escolher a combinação de burrito ou taco que mais gostas.
For some time I wanted to try the Tierra the first one I saw was in Sagasta and on the day we came to lunch the cafeteria HD we were divided because we saw it in front with an inviting terrace and a promise to eat a good burrito. I liked the concept, first because it does not have the typical Mexican decor opting for a more modern route becoming quite cozy and then because you can choose the combination burrito or taco you like best.
Primeiro pedes a base: burrito, tacos, nachos ou sem formato de salada e têm o “desnudo” que é sem nenhum dos anteriores colocando apenas arroz por exemplo. Aqui podes escolher ainda os “frijoles” (feijões pretos), arroz integral ou branco e verduras. No passo seguinte escolhes a carne têm quatro variedades: carnitas, barbacoa, steak e frango (pollo), têm outra que é para vegetarianos. No final tens o pico de gallo (uma salada de tomate e cebola), milho, queijo ralado, alface e podes escolher algum molho sendo que o guacamole é pago á parte. Éramos quatro pessoas mais duas crianças e pedimos quatro burritos (mais dois desnudos de steak ideais para os pequenos) uma para cada tipo de carne, pedimos com todos os acompanhamentos que era possível. Foi bastante ambicioso porque um chega para duas pessoas principalmente se pedes algo mais como por exemplo os nachos.
Gostámos muito da qualidade da comida do Tierra, os ingredientes são frescos e isso nota-se no sabor, quanto ás carnes as preferidas foram a carnitas e a barbacoa (que é a mais picante do grupo)
Têm um excelente selecção de cervejas internacionais sem esquecer a mítica Corona e além disso é um sitio para tomar uma margarita fresquinha, um outro detalhe é que os refrigerantes são de “refill”.

First you order the base: burrito, tacos, nachos, salad or the “desnudo” (naked) that is without any of the above just putting rice for example. You can also choose the “frijoles” (black beans), brown rice or white and greens. In the next step you choose the meat and they have four varieties: carnitas, barbacoa, steak and chicken (pollo), have another that is for vegetarians. At the end you have the pico de gallo (a salad of tomato and onion), corn, shredded cheese, lettuce and you can pick some sauce but the guacamole is extra. We were four people plus two children and ordered four burritos (plus two naked ideal for the Little ones) one for each type of meat, ordered with all the extras that was possible. It was quite ambitious because one comes to two people especially if you ask something else such as the nachos.
We really enjoyed the quality of the Tierra food, the ingredients are fresh and it shows in the flavor, as the preferred meats they were the carnitas and barbacoa (which is the spiciest of the group)
They have an excellent selection of international beers without forgetting the mythical Corona and is also a place to drink a fresh margarita, another detail is that soft drinks are “refill”.
For the next time we want to taste the tacos.
