A Hohe strasse e a Shildergasse são duas conhecidas ruas de compras desta cidade alemã. Começámos o nosso trajecto tendo a Catedral nas nossas costas e a Hohe strasse começa a partir da Wallrafpratz onde comemos no Campi Im Funkhaus, um restaurante com menú italiano.
Começámos a percorrer a agitada rua de compras e chegava a ser complicado andar com o mar de gente que se apresentava á nossa frente. A rua é pedestre e não é muito larga, de um lado e do outro, lojas de várias marcas internacionais estavam cheias de clientes, é aqui que percebemos porque é que a economia alemã continua uma das mais saudáveis (se é que há alguma), o primeiro sinal de crise são as lojas vazias.
The Hohe strasse and the Shildergasse are two famous shopping streets in Cologne. We started our walk through them leaving the Cathedral behind us and the Hohe strasse starts in Wallrafpratz where we had lunch in Campi Im Funkhaus, a restaurant with an italian menu.
We started to walk this busy shopping street and it was getting complicated to do it with all that people that was ahead of us. It’s a pedestrian street and it’s not very wide, flanked by stores from international brands that were crowded, it’s here that you see that german economy is still one of the healthiest (if there is one), the first sign of crisis would be empty stores.
