Uma entrada para visitar as Tumbas da dinastia Saadi custa 10 dirhams (aproximadamente 1€), uma valor que vale a pena pagar e pelo estado de conservação deu-me vontade de dar mais para ajudar. Foram construídas no século XVI e foram recebendo membros desta familia real até ao século XVII altura em que começou a dinastía Alaouite que ainda hoje governa em Marrocos.
Na altura da transição fecharam as tumbas sem nunca as destruir mas também sem qualquer tipo de conservação até que no ano de 1917 foram redescobertas e abertas ao público.
An entry to visit the tombs of Saadi dynasty costs 10 dirhams (about 1 €) a value that is worth paying and it’s condition made ​​me want to give more just to help. Were built in the sixteenth century and was receiving members of the royal family until the seventeenth century when the Alaouite dynasty  began and still rules in Morocco.

MESQUITA KOUTOUBIA – MARRAKECH, MARROCOS

Abd al-Mumin foi o primeiro califa do Califado Almóada e o homem responsável pelo inicio da construção desta mesquita, o seu desejo era que fosse uma das maiores na altura mas não viveu para ver a obra final. O seu Minarete de quase 70 metros de altura foi modelo para os que podemos ver em Rabat e em Sevilha (a Giralda).
Abd al–Mumin was the first Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate and the man responsible for starting the construction of this mosque, his wish was that it was one of the largest at the time but did not live to see the final work. Its minaret nearly 70 feet tall was the model for the ones what we can see in Rabat and Seville (the Giralda).

Jardim Majorelle – Marrakech, Marrocos

Eram 16h30 quando estávamos junto ao Club Med á espera do Bus Turistico para tentar chegar antes das 17h ao Jardim Majorelle, aquele que seria o último lugar a visitar em Marrakech nesse dia. Connosco estava um colega fã do trabalho de Yves Saint Laurent que ia roendo as unhas pensando que poderia perder a sua oportunidade de visitar o sitio onde este grande estilista francês se inspirou para algumas das suas colecções. Felizmente, depois de muito correr chegámos a tempo e ainda bem.
It was 16:30 when we were next to Club Med waiting for the Bus Turistico to try to arrive before 17h to Majorelle Garden, the one that would be the last place to visit in Marrakech on that day. With us was a work colleague a big fan of Yves Saint Laurent’s work who was biting his nails thinking he might lose the chance to visit the place where this great French designer drew inspiration for some of his collections. Fortunately, after much running we arrived on time and that was great.

Souks – Marrakech, Marrocos

É a segunda vez que venho a Marrakech e a segunda que sei que alguém vai perder a cabeça ao passar pelos vários Souks da Medina. Desta vez acho que até foram mais pessoas a fazê-lo que da primeira e porque não? Mas para mim os Souks não são apenas um centro comercial ao ar livre recheado de produtos, muitos artesanais que são apelativos a qualquer um que passa, são uma experiencia que não esqueces, que te permite interagir com quem aqui vive, encontrar recantos escondidos como as elaboradas portas de alguns dos palácios que se escondem por detrás das montras e até podes encontrar algum famoso como por exemplo a Duquesa de Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles (cuja foto ficou desfocada pelo excesso de segurança).
It is the second time I’ve been to Marrakesh and the second that I know someone is going to lose his head through the various souks of the medina. I think by this time there were more people doing it than the first, and why not? But for me the Souks are not just a outdoor shopping center filled with products, many crafts that are appealing to anyone who passes but are an experience that you never forget, that lets you interact with those who live here, find hidden corners as  some of the palaces doors that hide behind the little shops and you can even find some famous such as the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles (whose picture was blurred by the excess of security people).
