No mês de Novembro em Madrid podemos ter dias de sol, de frio, de chuva ou de tempo ameno e é certo que que é no Verão que se vendem mais gelados mas eu gosto de comer todo o ano. Num dos nossos passeios pela cidade encontrámos o Mamá Elba (na Cea Bermudez) para comer um bom gelado artesanal e aqui oferecem cinquenta sabores diferentes.
In November in Madrid we can have days of sun, cold, rain or mild weather and it is certain that it is summer that sell more ice cream but I like to eat all year. On one of our city tours we found Mamá Elba (in Cea Bermudez) to eat a good homemade ice cream and here they offer fifty different flavors.
Como sou muito clássica pedi um cone com dois sabores: morango e pistacho. Mas provei também o de doce de leite porque foi um dos sabores que pediram os rapazes. Achei que eram bons mas não fiquei com a sensação de que são os melhores de Madrid. Segundo entendi não são de fabrico próprio mas sim fornecidos por um fabricante argentino que têm sitio em Madrid, os Helados Tucán. Todos são sem gluten e tem ainda gelados vegan. Podes também pedir crepes e waffles para companhar com uma bola ou com um topping de chocolate.
As I am very classical I ordered a cone with two flavors: strawberry and pistachio. But I also tried the dulce de leche because it was one of the flavors that the boys asked for. I thought they were good but I did not get the feeling that they are the best in Madrid. According to I understand they are not of their own manufacture but rather supplied by an Argentinean manufacturer who have a place in Madrid, the Tucán Ice Cream. All are gluten free and they also have vegan ice creams. You can also order crepes and waffles to pair with a ball or a chocolate topping.
