Há muito tempo que não via filas em restaurantes e nos últimos tempos por Madrid falavam de duas: a dos Cereal Hunters e a dos Five Guys. Nesta última cheguei a passar por elas e se não as tivesse visto não acreditava mas não sei se foi apenas febre do momento, eu fui a um dia de semana á hora do almoço (mas cedo) e estava felizmente vazio. Um outro factor para a fila é que a parte superior que somaria mais mesas não tem ainda a licença para abrir. Detalhes á parte, os hamburguers são muito bons a pesar de ser um ambiente de fast food são superiores aos das cadeias normais mas também mais caros.

For a long time I have not seen queues in restaurants and in recent times through Madrid people talked about two: Cereal Hunters and Five Guys. In this last I got to pass by them and if I had not seen them I did not believe but I do not know if it was just a fever of the moment, I went to a weekday at lunch time (early) and it was happily empty. Another factor for the queue is that the top that would add more tables does not yet have the license to open. Details aside, the hamburgers are very good despite being a fast food environment they are superior to those of the normal chains but also more expensive.

Na realidade não saberia classificar-los porque parecem ter um ambiente de cadeia de fast food mas a qualidade do seu produto e o sabor fazem pensar em hamburguers que estão entre os gourmet e os de comida rápida. Como funciona? Primeiro fazemos o pedido, a base está clara pão e carne, depois é escolher os toppings. Pedi o Bacon Cheeseburger (9,75€) com alface e maionese e umas batatas pequenas (3€) cuja porção acho que chega para dois. Feito o pedido recebemos um número e esperamos para recolhê-lo, um truque para amenizar a espera é uma pequena caixa de amendoins que permite ir picando. Aparentemente não são os hamburguers mais bonitos do Instagram no entanto são muito saborosos e valem a pena a visita.

In reality I would not know how to rank them because they seem to have a fast food chain environment but the quality of their product and the flavor make you think of hamburgers that are between gourmet and fast food. How it works? First we make the order, the base is clear, bread and meat, then you choose the toppings. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger (9,75 €) with lettuce and mayonnaise and a small potatoes (3 €) whose portion I think comes for two. Once the order is received we receive a number and we hope to collect it, a trick to ease the waiting is a small box of peanuts that allows you to go poking. Apparently they are not the prettiest hamburgers on the Instagram however they are very tasty and well worth the visit.
