Segundo dia nas Astúrias e saímos do concelho de Cudillero para ir a Gozón visitar o Cabo de Peñas e o seu farol. O ponto mais a Norte do Principado é considerado paisagem protegido (e ainda bem) porque é tal como o Cabo Vidio, algo que merece sem dúvida que se preserve. Aqui não vês praias com areia, só acantilados e rochas que se vão revelando consoante a maré, as vistas são magnificas.
Second day in Asturias and we leave the county of Cudillero to go to Gozón to visit the Cape of Peñas and its lighthouse. The most northern point of the Principality is considered protected landscape (and still good) because it is like the Cabo Vidio, something that undoubtedly deserves to be preserved. Here you do not see beaches with sand, only cliffs and rocks that are revealed according to the tide, the views are magnificent.
Dentro do Farol está um centro de acolhimento ao visitante, explicando um pouco sobre o Cabo e as espécies que aqui se poderão encontrar. Decidimos não entrar e seguir o passadiço de madeira não foi má opção porque tinha placas explicativas com os mesmos temas, por exemplo o tipo de golfinhos que aquí se podem avistas. E claro, aqui todas as rochas estão baptizadas, há volta da ilha Erbosa estão la Gullada, la Corverina ou o Pegollo de los Cuervos. De volta ao carro seguimos o passadiço até ao café, daí pudémos ver a rocha de El Castro e mais uma parte da zona costeira de Gozón. Mais um cabo e a confirmação da beleza da linha costeira das Astúrias.
Inside the Lighthouse is a visitor center, explaining a little about the Cape and the species that can be found here. We decided not to enter and follow the wooden walkway was not a bad option because it had explanatory plaques with the same themes, for example the kind of dolphins that can be seen here. And of course, here all the rocks are baptized, there are around the island Erbosa are the Gullada, Corverina ou Pegollo de los Cuervos. Back in the car we followed the footbridge to the cafe, from there we could see the rock of El Castro and another part of the coastal zone of Gozón.
