Não há glamour neste bar colado á praia, tem aquele ar de restaurante de toda a vida onde os teus pais sempre iam quando passavam férias na Manta Rota e tratam os empregados pelo nome. Nós ainda não temos esse histórico mas foi onde mais comemos sem dúvida porque para além de ter boa comida era dos mais acessíveis na escassa oferta que há de restaurantes junto á Praia da Lota.
There is no glamor in this bar glued to the beach, has that air of restaurant of a lifetime where your parents always went when they vacationed in Manta Rota and treat employees by their names. We do not yet have this history but it was where we had lunch most of the times, no doubt because in addition to having good food was the most affordable in scarce variety of restaurants next to the Lota beach.
O primeiro prato que pedimos foram as ameijoas á bulhão pato, que saudades de comer umas com cerveja e pão com manteiga. Depois fomos variando os pratos entre um bom peixe (carapaus, sardinhas, etc..), comemos também um arroz de marisco cuja dose dá para alimentar uma familia inteira e também provámos os chocos. Na realidade aqui comemos pouca carne e já nem me lembro se comemos alguma. Dependendo do que pedes podes comer entre 35€-50€ para dois adultos e duas crianças, só tem um senão muitas vezes podes estar algum tempo á espera seja de mesa, que te atendam ou mesmo pela comida, aqui é para vir com calma.
The first dish we ordered were the Clams “á bulhão pato” (cooked in olive oil with garlic and coriander), I missed eating it with a beer plus bread and butter. Then we had dishes from a good fish (mackerel, sardines, etc ..), also ate a seafood rice whose quantity was enough to feed an entire family and also we tasted the cuttlefish. In fact here we had few dish of meat and I do not even remember if we had some. Depending on what you order you can eat between 35 € -50 € for two adults and two children, has only one more negative aspect you can be waiting for some time to have a table, that they get your order or even the food, here you need to come with some tranquility.
