
De uma já extensa lista de restaurantes que queríamos conhecer o Mr. Frank era um deles, o seu lema é “mais que um restaurante, uma experiência” e a verdade é que a sua localização, a decoração do espaço criam o ambiente e a comida faz o resto. Está dividido em duas zonas, a do piso superior que tem mais mesas, grandes janelas e as paredes decoradas com paletes, na parte de baixo está outra sala instalada numa antiga bodega de vinhos, com um aspecto mais rústico é igualmente acolhedora.
An already extensive list of restaurants we wanted to meet Mr. Frank was one of them, their motto is “more than a restaurant, an experience” and the truth is that its location, the decor of the space create the environment and the food does rest. Is divided into two zones, the upper floor which has more tables, large windows and walls decorated with pallets at the bottom is another room installed in an old wine cellar with a more rustic look is equally welcoming.

We had dinner on the lower floor by candlelight and lack of visibility on our table made it imposible to take good pictures or even see the food very well. When we sat down they brought a salmorejo (similar to gazpacho but with more ingredients) and bread, to start we ordered the roasted octopus in a mashed potato bed which was very good but a bit pricey (12 € ), the portion seemed scarce. Main courses were a pig “secretos” in a salmorejo bed with roasted peppers and we also ordered a cod confit with mashed black potato. The latter was the disappointment of the night, I expect more of this dish and restaurant, it lacked flavor something that seems essential. The first was very good even though the meat seemed a bit though. Lack of originality of the desserts menu from brownies , apple pies and coulants it does not leave room something new. Informal and friendly service it’s a trendy restaurant but I missed the ” dish ” that would make me come back here again and again, is to be discovered…
