É a nossa “estação de serviço”, paragem obrigatória quando regressamos a Madrid. Não atestamos o carro mas o estômago e é o último lugar para matar saudades da comida portuguesa. O nosso prato favorito: o arroz de pato mas que só há ás terças, á quinta-feira toca o Cozido á Portuguesa ou melhor á Alentejana porque em vez do feijão branco vinha grão e não tinha frango.
It’s our “service station“, a must stop when we return to Madrid. We do not fill the car tank but our stomach and is the last place to relive memories of Portuguese food. Our favorite dish: duck rice but there is only on Tuesdays, Thursday dish is the Cozido á Portuguesa (Portuguese stew) or better yet Alentejo style because instead of white beans it had chickpeas and there was no chicken.
Gostei desta versão com grão, o sabor não chegava a competir com o Cozido madrilenho que comi no Lhardy (mas acho que poucos conseguem e por isso custa 50€ por pessoa) mas os enchidos e carnes eram de boa qualidade.
Outro dos pratos que sempre comemos aqui é o lombo de porco assado, dos poucos sitios onde o conseguem fazer sem que fique seco e pedimos sempre para os miúdos. Aqui a comida tem um toque caseiro e a sala é acolhedora. No final pagámos 30€ para três pessoas e é o nosso sitio de eleição na viagem Lisboa-Madrid sem sair muito do caminho.

I liked this version with chickpea, the flavor did not quite compete with the Madrid-based stew I ate in Lhardy (but few can tdo it and costs 50€ per person) but the sausages and meats were of good quality.
Another of the dishes we always eat here is the roasted pork loin, the few places where they can do it without becoming too dry and we always order for the kids. Here the food has a homemade touch and the restaurant is warm. In the end we paid 30€ for three people and it is our place of choice in the Lisbon-Madrid route without going to much of our way.
