Um dos lugares mais conhecidos na ilha para comer a Caldereta de lagosta é o Es Cranc em Fornells, ainda tentámos ir mas não conseguimos mesa e numa comida com amigos que passam o Verão na ilha descobrimos o Cran Pelut junto ao Passeio Maritimo que segundo entendemos são dos meus donos. Aqui também encontramos os pratos de arroz e as calderetas de marisco que são tão famosas na zona.

One of the best known places on the island to eat the Lobster Caldereta is Es Cranc in Fornells, we still tried to go but we couldn’t get a table and in a meal with friends who spend the summer on the island we discovered Cran Pelut next to the Promenade which we think are from my owners. Here we also find the rice dishes and the seafood calderetas that are so famous in the area.

Estava tanto calor que ficámos dentro e pedimos para começar o polvo á galega, os mexilhões que são da ilha (são ligeiramente mais pequenos que os normais) para seguir com um arroz caldoso de marisco e uma paella também de marisco. Tudo óptimo e saboroso com excelentes produto. Reservámos espaço para a sobremesa e ainda bem, o seu cheesecake é simplesmente inesquecível.  Dependendo do que se pede pode estar entre os 35-40€ por pessoa.

It was so hot that we got a table inside and we ordered to start the Galician octopus, the island mussels (they are slightly smaller than the normal ones) to follow with a broth of seafood and a paella of seafood. All great and tasty with excellent product. We reserved room for dessert and thankfully so, their cheesecake is simply unforgettable. Depending on what you order the check can be between 35-40 € per person.
