Para chegar até ao Good Food para provar os seus Trdlos tive de atravessar toda a rua Karlova e ainda bem que o fiz, de outra forma talvez não a tivesse descoberto. É outra das ruas conhecidas por fazer parte da Rota Real, o seu ponto de partida é a Ponte Carlos e chega até perto da Praça da Cidade Velha. É estreita e em boa parte, pedestre.

To get to Good Food to taste their Trdlos, I had to cross Karlova Street and I’m glad I did, otherwise I might not have discovered it. It is another of the streets known to be part of the Royal Route, its starting point is the Charles Bridge and it gets close to the Old Town Square. It is narrow and in good part pedestrian.

Os seus coloridos edificios têm na sua maioria fachadas do estilo Barroco mas dizem que as suas estruturas interiores do estilo gótico foram mantidas em muitos deles. Há vários avisos sobre esta rua por ter demasiados turistas e pelo facto de muitas da lojas aqui serem armadilhas prontas para os engañar, eu por outro lado gostei da rua e não a sentí tão turística. Talvez a hora (fui de manhã cedo) ou o dia (a meio da semana) tivessem ajudado mas achei que foi das mais agradáveis para dar um passeio.

Its colorful buildings mostly have Baroque facades but say that its Gothic-style interior structures have been retained in many of them. There are several warnings on this street about having too many tourists and the fact that many of the shops here are snares ready to deceive, I on the other hand liked the street and did not feel so touristy. Maybe the time (I went early in the morning) or the day (in the middle of the week) had helped but I thought it was one of the most pleasant to take a walk.
