Perto do Highline descobrimos o Chelsea Market cujo nome me soava mas que nem o tinha apontado na lista a visitar, ainda assim foi uma agradável surpresa e o lugar onde almoçámos num dos últimos dias da nossa estadia em Nova Iorque. Instalado no edificio da antiga fábrica da Nabisco (famosa pelas suas bolachas Oreo) mantém esse aspecto industrial dos século XIX ou principio do século XX. No seu interior encontramos de tudo um pouco, restaurantes com cozinhas de vários países, lojas de roupa e gourmet, etc..
Near the highline we discovered the Chelsea Market whose name sounded to me but it was not even on our list to visit, yet it was a pleasant surprise and the place where we had lunch on one of the last days of our stay in New York. Installed in the old Nabisco factory building (famous for its Oreo wafers) it maintains this industrial aspect of the nineteenth or early twentieth century. In its interior we find a bit of everything, restaurants with kitchens from various countries, clothing and gourmet stores, etc …
