Mais um fim de semana em Lisboa e sempre na correria de ver amigos e familia, ainda assim conseguimos ter um tempo para ir até á famosa esplanada do Bairro Alto Hotel que segundo dizem tem a quarta melhor vista do mundo e eu…confirmo!
Estacionámos no Largo de Camões e foi só atravessar a estrada, passar as portas do hotel e no elevador carregar no seis. Pouco depois chegamos á pequena esplanada com uma grande vista.
Another weekend in Lisbon and always in a rush to see friends and family, we still managed to have some time to go to the famous Bairro Alto Hotel‘s terrace which they say has the fourth best view of the world and I … can confirm it!
We parked our car in Largo Camões and it was just cross the street, pass the hotel doors and press level six in the elevator. Shortly after we arrive to this small terrace with a great view.

Tivémos que esperar um pouco até conseguir mesa mas a vista vale sem dúvida a pena, a espera e os preços. O Bairro Alto Hotel tem cinco estrelas e isso nota-se na carta, uma cerveja custa 6€, os mojitos eram 11€ e para comer havia tábuas de queijos ou enchidos, saladas e sanduiches. Eu descobri a Limonada de coco e fiquei fã.
A vista é incrível principalmente quando tens um dia de céu limpo e vês toda a margem sul onde se destaca o Cristo Rei e a Ponte 25 de Abril. É bastante tranquila e vimos gente a ler, a trabalhar ou simplesmente a pôr em dia a conversa enquanto bebiam um copo de vinho.
Uma experiência a repetir sem dúvida.
We had to wait a bit to get table but the view is definitely worth the wait and the price. The Bairro Alto Hotel has five stars and it shows in the menu, a beer costs 6 €, the mojitos were 11€ and had to eat cheese or charcuterie plates, salads and sandwiches. I discovered the Coconut lemonade and became a fan.
The view is amazing especially when you have a clear day and you see the entire southern shore where Cristo Rei stands out and also the 25th of Abril Bridge. It is very quiet and we saw people reading, working or simply catching up on the conversation while drinking a glass of wine.
An experience to repeat definitely.
