O nome foi muito bem escolhido, Small porque o sitio é pequeno e visto de fora não dás muito por ele. World porque tem comida internacional e porque (dizem que) os seus proprietários são Australianos e Catering porque foi essa a origem do negócio que mais tarde abriu as portas aqui neste pequeno cantinho no bairro Jordaan.
The name was well chosen, Small because the site is small and seen from the outside not much you give him. World because it has international food and because (some say) their owners are Australians and Catering because this was the origin of the business which later opened its doors here in this little corner of the Jordaan district.
Aparecemos á hora do lanche e dentro estava cheio por isso comemos sentados num dos seus bancos na rua. Pedimos um Fudge Brownie e um muffin com pepitas de chocolate, além disso pedimos sumos naturais que nos fizeram esperar um pouco mas são feitos no momento. Á primeira trinca entendes porque é que são tão conhecidos em Amsterdão, a comida é óptima. Tanto o brownie como o muffin estavam tão bons que tive que me conter para não repetir. Os sumos rondam os 4€ e os bolos se for o muffin está entre 1,75€ e 2,75€ enquanto o meu brownie custou 3,5€ .
We showed up at snack time and within was full so we ate sitting in their seats in the street. We ordered a Fudge Brownie and a muffin with chocolate chips also ordered fresh juices that made us wait a little but are made at the time. At first crack understand why they are so well known in Amsterdam, the food is great. Both the brownie and muffin were so good I had to restrain myself not to repeat. The juice costs around 4€ and the muffin is between 1,75 € and 2,75 € while my brownie cost € 3,5€.
