Ovos moles = Confeitaria do Peixinho. Por mais debates sobre o tema aqui encontramos bons ovos moles dos que fazem justiça á produção original do tempo das freiras do Mosteiro de Jesus de Aveiro. Desde 1856 que vendem nesta casa estes doces tão típicos da cidade, em conchas, em berbigão, em peixes ou barcos, a forma é na realidade menos importante que o seu recheio de doce de ovos.

Ovos moles (traditional sweet made of egg yolks and sugar) = Confeitaria do Peixinho (bakery). As many discussions one may have on the subject here we find good Ovos moles of those who do justice to the original production of the time of the nuns of the Monastery of Jesus of Aveiro. Since 1856 they have been selling in this house these sweets so typical of the city, in shells, cockles, fish or boats, the shape is in fact less important than its sweet egg filling.

Preparando a viagem a Aveiro fiz uma lista de sitios para comer dos mais típicos ao mais modernos e o Armazém da Alfândega estava no último grupo. Pensei que pela carta que tinham podia ser arriscado para viajeiros com crianças mas acabou por ser uma boa aposta. Inserido no hotel Histórias por Metro Quadrado e num antigo armazém da alfândega em plena zona do Rossio de Aveiro, o restaurante mantém-se fiel ao produto da região com formatos mais modernos ou internacionais.

Preparing the trip to Aveiro I made a list of places to eat from the most typical to the most modern and the Armazém da Alfândega (Warehouse of Customs) was in the last group. I thought the letter they had might be risky for traveling with kids but it turned out to be a good bet. Inserted in the hotel Stories by Metro Square and in a former customs warehouse in the Rossio area of Aveiro, the restaurant remains faithful to the product of the region with more modern or international formats.
