Fomos sem reservar direitinhos ao Méson de Cervantes, estava com boas recomendações e até fomos cedo porque em Málaga é a melhor forma de arranjar mesa nos lugares conhecidos. Mesmo assim não foi suficiente e não tinham lugar mandaram-nos a outro lugar que era do mesmo dono, La Taberna de Cervantes e ao ouvir o sotaque argentino tudo fez sentido, pela decoração até a alguns pratos onde se incluía a Cajeta e o Chimichurri.
We went without booking the Méson de Cervantes, it was with good recommendations and even went early because in Malaga is the best way to get a table in places known. Even though it was not enough and they had no place they sent us to another restaurant from the same owner, La Taberna de Cervantes and listening to the Argentine accent it all made sense, from the decoration to the few dishes that included Cajeta and Chimichurri.
Com uma boa carta de tapas e “raciones” que permite fazer uma boa combinação e provar o máximo de pratos possíveis. Cheios de fome decidimos pedir uma tapa de queijo, outra de rolinhos de salmão e de camarões panados. Depois pedimos meia dose de almôndegas e polvo. Por último, um prato de rabo de toro e outro de entrecote com chimichurri. Tudo óptimo, bom e barato, um pouco o que diría que resume a comida em Málaga. Fomos muito bem atendidos pela dona (a tal senhora com o sotaque argentino) que esteve muito tempo á conversa com os nossos filhos. A próxima vez que formos a Málaga voltaremos.
With a good menu of tapas and “raciones” that allows you to make a good combination and taste as many dishes as possible. Full of hunger we decided to order a “tapa” of cheese, another of salmon rolls and fried shrimp. Then we ordered half a portion of meatballs and octopus. Finally, a plate of ox tail and another of entrecote with chimichurri. Everything great, good and cheap, a bit what I would say sums up the food in Malaga. We were very well taken care of by the owner (the lady with the Argentine accent) who had been talking to our children for a long time. The next time we come to Malaga we’ll be back.
