Quando penso em Lisboa e nos seus monumentos penso imediatamente nos miradouros, o da Senhora do Monte é um dos que nunca cheguei a frequentar e queria muito conhecer nestas férias da Páscoa. Saímos de Cascais com um dia nublado e chuvoso para chegar ao Miradouro com um dia lindo como se fosse soubesse que necessitávamos de bom tempo para realmente poder apreciar a fantástica vista sobre a cidade.
When I think of Lisbon and its monuments immediately I think in the viewpoints (“miradouros”), the Senhora do Monte is one that I never got to go and wanted to discover these Easter holidays. We left Cascais with a cloudy and rainy day to get to the belvedere with a beautiful day as if it knew that we needed some good weather to really be able to enjoy the fantastic views over the city.
Está na freguesia de São Vicente junto á Capela da Nossa Senhora do Monte cuja imagem encontramos numa vitrina em frente. Mas o mais importante para mim foi mesmo a vista, a ponte 25 de Abril, os Restauradores, o Castelo de S. Jorge, as Amoreiras e a complexa teia das ruelas dos bairros típicos de Lisboa.
It is in the parish of St. Vincent next to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Monte whose image we found in a window opposite to it. But most important to me was the view, the bridge of the 25th of April, over the Restauradores, the Castle of St. Jorge, Amoreiras and the complex web of the streets of the neighborhoods of Lisbon.
