Perto das Ramblas está o Palácio que o principal mecenas de Gaudí, Eusebi Güell lhe pediu para construir. É anterior á Casa Batló e á Pedrera, com uma fachada talvez mais austera se comparamos e que se parece um pouco mais com a Casa Botines em León. Outro exemplo do Modernismo lançado por Gaudí sempre inspirado em outras correntes artisticas como por exemplo o Gótico.

Como todos os seus edificios, há complexidade e estilos que convivem juntos, ao gótico junta a arquitetura árabe e o art nouveau que se vê em grande parte do mobiliário que também desenhou para a casa. A visita começa pela planta inferior, as cavalariças onde dizem que durante a Guerr Civil alguns politicos foram torturados. Mais obscura que as que já conhecemos até á data, tem uma enorme cúpula e uma capela integrada no seu interior. É uma das zonas mais espectaculares da casa. Igualmente impressionante é o telhado onde podemos ver as chaminés decoradas com pedaços coloridos de azulejo.

Equally impressive is the roof where we can see the chimneys decorated with colorful pieces of tile.
