A Pensão do Amor é um lugar especial e único na cidade, qualquer que entra fica surpreendido pela audácia do projeto criado com um ambiente burlesco que procura recriar os tempos mais boémios e decadentes das antigas pensões. Nada mais entrar encontramos na primeira sala os tectos decorados, as cadeiras forradas a veludo e alguns quadros ou fotos de mulheres seminuas.
The Pensão do Amor (Love Pension) is a special and unique place in the city, whoever enters it is surprised by the audacity of the project created with a burlesque environment that seeks to recreate the most bohemian and decadent timess of the old pensions. Right when entering the first room we find the decorated ceilings, the chairs lined velvet and some pictures or photos of seminaked women.
A outra sala se destaca é a do varão com sofás estampados de leopardo e um pouco mais á frente cheguei a ver uma vidente a ler a sina. Mas a Pensão do Amor não é apenas um bar e no andar de cima encontramos os seus “quartos” onde alguns artistas se instalaram, além disso tem uma livraria. Durante a tarde está mais vazio mas á noite anima até ás quatro de manhã.
The other room that stands out is the one that has the pole with leopard sofas and a little more ahead got to see a psychic Reading hands. But the Pensão do Amor is not just a bar and upstairs you can find its “rooms” where some artists have settled and it also has a bookstore. During the afternoon is more empty but at night it is more lively until four in the morning.
